Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MagEdge website, the RapidReach app and dashboard, and related services provided by Mag Edge Pte. Ltd. ("MagEdge", "we", "us"). By using them, you agree to these Terms.
1. About MagEdge
MagEdge provides a waterproof SOS alert wristband, on-site gateways and the RapidReach operations dashboard and app, which together let an establishment's safety team receive guest SOS alerts with location.
2. Important safety notice
MagEdge is an alert tool. It does not prevent drowning or other incidents, and it does not replace lifeguards, staff supervision, safety procedures or parental supervision.
Alerts depend on the wristband being worn, charged and pressed, on gateway coverage and power, and on staff responding. Alert times and other specifications are target figures and may vary by deployment and environment. Establishments remain responsible for their own safety procedures, staffing and emergency response, including how accidental alerts are handled.
3. Customer agreements
Deployments of wristbands, gateways and the dashboard, including pilots and per-band monthly plans, are provided under a separate agreement between MagEdge and the establishment. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement applies.
4. Using the website
- You may use the website for lawful purposes to learn about MagEdge and contact us.
- Information on the website is for general information only, may change without notice, and does not form an offer or contract.
- Certification and compliance statuses are described as accurately as we can at the time of publishing.
5. RapidReach app and dashboard accounts
- Accounts are issued to authorised staff of establishments using MagEdge.
- You must keep your login details secure and tell us or your establishment straight away about any unauthorised use.
- We may suspend access to protect the security or integrity of the Services.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, or try to gain unauthorised access;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the software or hardware, except as the law allows;
- use the Services to track people without a lawful basis or for any purpose other than safety;
- trigger false alerts deliberately or use the Services in breach of any law.
7. Intellectual property
The MagEdge name, logo, website content, software, designs and documentation belong to MagEdge or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms gives you ownership of them.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links and services
The website may link to third-party sites and services such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram and app stores. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Disclaimers
Except as stated in a customer agreement, the website and Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or able to prevent any incident.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MagEdge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the website or Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate MagEdge for losses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless a customer agreement says otherwise.
